6 Best Pre Built Gaming PC

Ever heard from someone saying, “bro getting a gaming pc is too expensive”?

Well, that’s wrong to some extent but not completely. Of course custom built of a gaming PC or the high-end gaming PCs are expensive as hell but there’s no doubt in this that you can get the best gaming pc under $500.

It’s not like gaming desktops under 500 are going to deliver you the weak performance on some high-end games like GTA 5, league of legends, assassin’s creed origins and anthem. YES! there might be a little lag sometimes, but overall gaming experience is satisfactory.

At least a $500 gaming pc is better than consoles like Xbox and PS4. However, you have to compromise a little on the hardware but the good part is that you can upgrade your PC later on when the time is right.

Quick Shopping Tips To Make the Best Choice For You

Quick Shopping Tips To Make the Best Choice For You

When buying a prebuilt gaming PC, you need to consider its specifications first. Whether you have an unlimited budget or a few hundred, your new PC should be capable enough to serve you well and allows you to run your favorites games. If you want high performance and more value against your money, consider the following factors while buying the best-prebuilt gaming PC under $500.

Processor

The processor and motherboard are the brain and heart of the whole machine and make your usage snappy. When buying the PC, don’t go for the processors with fewer cores and threads. Instead, look out these things:

•    According to experts, processors only work well with motherboards that have adequate socket types. So, look for the socket type.
•    Must support all other components of your PC.
•    Look for the RAM slots.
•    Don’t forget to check PCI slots.
•    Look for the onboard audio; it might not be essential but comes in handy.

Graphics Card

Graphics cards are vital for any gaming pc, and the same goes for the best-prebuilt gaming PCs under $500. When buying, don’t buy the machine that includes old generation graphic cards. These GPUs are not suitable for the latest AAA games. Other things to consider are:

•    Resolution is important. PCs with higher resolution have more resources to maintain FPS levels.
•    Refresh rate is also crucial as it determines how much FPS the pc can display.

RAM

For a prebuilt gaming machine, 8GB of RAM might not be ideal, but at the same, it is not a big deal either. Hence we will recommend using 16 GB of RAM if your budget allows. As for the memory, remember these things:

•    Always buy a PC that has additional RAM slots as you can upgrade it anytime.
•    You can’t use different types of RAM in combination. Thus look for similar types.

Storage Space

When it comes to storage, look for the unit that comes with SSD and features multiple storage options. The recommend storage limit for a gaming machine is 240GB to 500GB. But for all pro gamers, 240GB might not be enough. So keep your storage requirements in mind and don’t forget these points:

•    Never settle for old hard drives.
•    Look for the one that has a high rotational speed (RPM).
•    Always buy the SSD that comes from a reputable brand.

Power Supply

The power supply (PSU) is a vital component of any gaming PC, but many users often overlook this vital factor. While some users aim for the wattage that meets their PC’s need and some aim for an affordable PSU. Regardless of your priorities, never sacrifice quality and reliability. Then, look for these things:

•    Your PSU should have enough power and efficiency to run anything.
•    Always opt for the certified PSUs.
•    Check for the cabling options and their compatibility with the motherboard.

Review:

This pre-built pc is ideal for those having a limited budget or who don’t have enough time to design a gaming rig.  We tested it on ‘League of legends; and played consistently at 80fps without any problem. PC performed well in all depts. A Graphics card is enough for most games.

Plus, you can also upgrade it if needed. Fans are quiet, and overall this PC is fast. The wired gaming keyboard and mouse are good, and we didn’t notice anything wrong with this computer. Measuring around 20.2 x 19.3 x 12.5 inches, the Mini 9300 features small footprints while it comes with a midsize motherboard and a spacious chassis that supports large components. The unit features a tool-less design, and the inner layout is well-designed. The power supply is located behind a metal side panel, while its front features concentric circles with a glass panel.

You have plenty of space to hide and organize cables. At the top panel, you will find a removable dust filter.  In contrast, its lovely front panel features separate and microphone jacks, along with multiple USB Type-A ports, a reset button, and light indicators. However, there is no flash-card reader on this pc.

As per makers, Mini 9300 is a complete gaming rig, and it justifies the maker’s claim.

The PC’s configuration includes a 3.6GHz AMD Ryzen 3100 processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM, and it supports a 240GB solid-state drive for easy storage. Furthermore, you can add more storage drives via the M.2 slot.

Another component that differentiates it from the rest is the AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB graphics card. Initially, it looks like a low-profile card, but it competes with the GTX 1050 graphics card by NVidia. This is a budget graphics card that works well and fulfills the gaming needs of most users.

Wireless connectivity is great while it comes and is Bluetooth-ready. Also bundled into the pack are an RGB gaming keyboard & mouse.

Overall, it is a reliable pre-built PC that is quite affordable. Looking at its design, it is a space saver and looks cool. Most likely, this PC offers the best bang for the bucks and efficiently handles most PC games. However, we will recommend installing additional RAM if you’re a pro gamer.

What’s Best in It

  • Affordable price
  • Compact and space saving
  • Countless connectivity options at the front and back
  • Comes ready to use

What Can Be Improved

  • No flash card reader
  • Power Supply is not promising

Review:

Carrying a proud history of making the highest-performing gaming PCs, the makers at Allied bring all their expertise to this Gaming Mini Desktop.

This Allied Gaming Mini Gaming Desktop includes everything you need to start your entry-level gaming. It is a budget friendly prebuilt gaming pc that comes well under $500 and features a smooth PC case, bright RGB fans, AMD Athlon processor, and speedy SSD storage device.  However, this machine is not suitable or recommended for pro level gamers or other demanding users. Apart from it, you can upgrade if needed and easily convert it into a blazing fast gaming PC.

Furthermore, the 8GB DDR4 RAM and an integrated Vega graphics card deliver the same performance as you will get with the GeForce 910M.

Storage might not be the best, but it will be more than enough for common uses. The 240GB SSD comes ready to use, and you can also update the storage capabilities if needed.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the Allied Mini gaming PC features 4x USB 3.0 ports, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, audio jacks, an HDMI output, and a channel 7.1 audio port. The Wi-Fi support is also reliable and adds to the connectivity options.

During our testing, we played games like Escape from Tarkov and GTA 5, but at minimum settings, low resolutions, and very low FPS, and it works perfectly. But in higher settings, we observed some lagging issues. Similarly, we also found SSD and RAM a bit low to play demanding games.

Keep in mind that this machine is not the quickest out there but a useful entry-level gaming rig. So, don’t expect anything magical from the unit. The fans also do an excellent job and keep things calm and cool even when you are using it for extreme tasks.

The design of Allied mini gaming PC is impressive, with plenty of inner space for smooth cable management. The black tower chassis with two RGB fans look amazing. You can also customize the RGB lights as 16 color options deliver a fantastic effect.

Allied Gaming Javelin Mini Desktop is ideal to use as an entry-level gaming rig featuring modest specs. It features ever-reliable AMD Athlon 3000G processor with multiple cores and threads. It comes with a fairly powerful CPU that delivers superb performance for all medium-intensive tasks and gaming.

Review:

Looking for the best-prebuilt gaming under $500? Here is an excellent machine for you, the CUK AsRock DeskMini X300W.

This gaming build looks much better in real than the pictures. It looks awesome, and it is the most sturdier out there. Apart from gaming, the machine is also ideal for general office work or internet stuff. This machine offers blistering processing no matter how you use it.

When it comes to easy on pocket gaming desktops, the choices are much more traditional in terms of design, but at this spot, we have something different for you, literally, the CUK AsRock Desk-mini. Don’t be fooled with its small form factor; this mini gaming prebuilt pc packs a serious punch with optimal performance.

The unit features evergreen Ryzen 3 2200G chips, which are powerful, and the most efficient APU in this price range. It can manage AAA games at moderate settings comfortably and without lagging. However, you will not find a standalone GPU in this machine.

Usually, AMD’s processors are dependent on RAM, so 16 is your number to make the maximum use of CPUs. Plus, you can always upgrade it when needed.

However, this rig has a couple of other things that will make you crazy. Let’s check those:

The Deskmini offers sufficient storage options up to 512GB making it the largest among all the builds on the list. However, it doesn’t have a room or dedicated space to add another HDD drive, and we didn’t like that.

At the front panel, you will find only one 3.1 USB port which is something that we didn’t expect from this case. However, it features an HD audio port and other handy slots for smooth connectivity. The ASRock DeskMini A300 also includes an aluminum heat sink that delivers quick and efficient heat dissipation to ensure that it remains cool even in extreme load.

Another unique feature of the unit is that you can use three display outputs simultaneously by expanding your desktop. With multiple monitors, it makes your gaming sessions more immersive and also enhances your productivity.

Instead, it utilizes AMD’s VEGA 8 graphics which is a reliable graphics card. The two 8GB RAM are perfect, and when you combine them with the powerful 3200G Quad-Core processor, it boosts the performance to the next level. The DeskMini A300W features a powerful processor that can comfortably run almost all games

During Test, We played the latest games at a minimum of 30FPS in moderate settings.

Overall, the CUK AsRock Desk Mini is among the best gaming pc under 500 but with limited room for upgrades. As far as other mini PCs are concerned, this option is fantastic.

What’s Best in It

  • Thermal properties are excellent.
  • Latest Wi-Fi support.
  • Elegant design.
  • Optional internal lighting.
  • NVMe storage with 16GB RAM

What Can Be Improved

  • Little room for upgrades

4. iBUYPOWER Pro Trace 4 MR 176A

Best Overall

iBUYPOWER Pro Trace 4 MR 176A

Review:

After testing this PC, we feel iBUYPOWER delivered as promised.  The Trace 4 9310 allows for smooth 1080p gaming and beats the higher cost. The gaming PC can comfortably accommodate new and large PC components with plenty of options for upgrades.

It has cutting-edge features and offers a solid, well-balanced gaming machine that can run modern AAA gaming titles with the finest performance. The Trace gaming pc case features a lightweight but durable construction. In addition to this, the case delivers strong performance at an affordable price.  With this Trace 4 9310, you will get a sleek and flashy chassis completed with a beautiful pair of RGB strips, a thick transparent side panel, and cool RGB fans inside the case.

Furthermore, the unit’s front I/O panel includes two USB 3.0 ports, a reset/power button, and mic and headphone jacks. You will also find RGB strips on the front along with triple 120mm RGB intake fans that also optimized the airflow. Moreover, the CPU is solid, and it is the best-prebuilt gaming case for the last few years. The unit includes an ever-reliable Ryzen 5 3600 with 6 core 12 threads.

As for the GPU, you will find a modern offering here. The four Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card offers a seamless 1080p gaming experience and delivers the hard to get from others or the previous RX 500 Series.

Memory and storage can be upgraded if you wish. Default configurations for RAM and storage include 8GB DIMM from ADATA, which would be fine for both AMD and Intel builds.

As for the storage, you will get a single ADATA 240GB SATA SSD. It is a solid device, but we find the storage a bit smaller than it should be. However, there is a dedicated space to fit another 2.5″ drive AND along with an open NVMe slot.

Recommended For:

Overall, the system has everything for a smooth gaming experience, but the feature that makes it the best-prebuilt gaming pc case under 500 dollars is the support for 1080p gaming, and it delivers that flawlessly.

We tested the unit on the most high-intensity AAA games, and they were running smoothly as silk.

What’s Best in It

  • The machine is un-gradable
  • Eye-catchy, and tool-less design
  • Smooth 1080p gaming performance

What Can Be Improved

  • Storage is low

Review:

Trying to build an affordable gaming PC? Why go through all that headache when you can get the prebuilt gaming case under $500? Yes, you read right; the T-895 performs a better expensive and customized gaming build without breaking your bank account.

We’re excited to review one of the most competing desktops, the Acer Aspire TC-895.

With all the information we had, it was pretty much clear that Acer Aspire TC-895 is one of the best gaming pc for 500 dollars. And lived up to that reputation by offering superior support to all high-end components and optimal performance.

At this price range, it’s hard to expect fancy features in a prebuilt gaming casing. But this Acer Aspire delivers all the essentials that too at an affordable price. Overall, this is the cream of gaming machines that comes with an elegant build and top-notch performance.

You don’t have much to complain about in this pc. It comes with Intel Core i5-10400 6 core CPU with 12GB RAM and a 512GB SSD storage that is more than enough for all kinds of uses.

This Aspire TC-895 is a pretty sleek machine with a minimalist footprint and resembles the previous Aspire TC-885 desktop PC.

However, it is upgraded and improved a lot than the previous models. The angular front design with shiny black blends well into any home or gaming setup.

Furthermore, its dimensions are compact and measure about 13.78 x 6.42 x 13.39 inches.

The LED is not included, but it is well-suited with full HD displays like the HP’s FHD Monitor. Even with this minimalist look, it provides plenty of connectivity options. You will get a DVD-RW drive with one USB-C port, one USB 3.1 port, and dedicated slots for cards, headphones, and a mic jack.

At the back, it has more USB ports along with HDMI connections and a VGA port for seamless connectivity. Wireless connectivity is awesome, plus it comes with Bluetooth 5.0. However, included wired keyboard and mouse are not suitable for a gaming build.

The Acer Aspire excels and performs well for most tasks. Apart from basic and common uses, we also tested it for basic video editing tasks, and the results were satisfactory.

Overall, a good prebuilt gaming pc with all the support you need for blistering performance.

What’s Best in It

  • Minimalist and sleek dimensions
  • It supports USB-C, optical drives and Bluetooth
  • 10th Generation Intel Core i5 delivers solid performance.
